On July 04, 2019, students of Ho Chi Minh City Open University (OU) were delighted to welcome the students of Thepsatri Rajabhat University (Thailand) to participate in the Cultural exchange program between the two countries. The Program was the exchange experiences about cultures, languages, knowledge and skills that the students of both countries had opportunities to access in the integration tendency.

Participating in the Program, there was Ph.D. Nguyen Thuy Nga – Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages on behalf of Ho Chi Minh City Open University to welcome the representative teachers and many Thai students from Thepsatri Rajabhat University. In the Program, students of both universities excitedly participated in activities to share cultural characteristics of each country, especially students of Ho Chi Minh City Open University understood better about lifestyle, customs and recipes to cook special dishes from “Golden temples land” such as mango sticky rice, papaya salad, … and other useful activities. The “Hello Vietnam” music performances by OU students of Night Guitar Club and special performances with full of traditional folk by the teachers and students of Thepsatri Rajabhat University made the atmosphere of the exchange program warmer than ever.

Ho Chi Minh City Open University always facilitates students to access and apply new knowledge of the world towards integration and expansion of international relations. In recent years, the university has also met the demands of students to improve their language ability, expand their knowledge, accumulate more skills and be more confident in international integration.
